Oregon Country Fair 2019

I am finally going to the OCF and will be attending with Avery from my early minion days.

This will be the 50th anniversary of the fair, so I am looking at whatever I have that is remotely peach-tinted and come up with three days of costuming that I can put in a duffel bag for the bus trip down to Veneta.

Doing repair and alterations’ box next to sewing table, spring has truly sprung and now is the time to swap out the warm and cold weather togs and, especially as fair is in July, I will need cool clothing readily on hand.

A vinyl-sided greenhouse will be making it’s way here for restoration AND experiments with warm weather veg, typically would be unheard of to attempt raising sweet potatoes or cantaloupes over by here. Might actually succeed 🙂

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, and I hope yours started off on the right foot 🙂

The Wardrobe,a.k.a. my sewing room, has finally started seeing signs of life and less congestion (in-laws visiting made me turn it back into a guest room for about a week,my word the GARAGE can hold a lot!) That said,my resolution has been to get backheld projects and mending out of the way before I get to anything on my personal wishlist. With Estrella War this February, I got a move on; bedspreads have fixed backings and a bunch of hemming out of the way-high heeled shoes only do so much.

Also on my list, finding clean tin foil for making and covering hats, inspired by an anniversary party I went to;reduce and reuse for 2019 under way
